Our translators are philologists who specialize in various fields. Thanks to this, we can offer translations in all fields, be it law, economics, engineering, chemistry, computer science or medicine.

Technical translation are carried out by people with technical education who are able to translate both lighter and more specific texts. Since translation materials in this field are usually quite voluminous, in order to make an accurate quote, we ask that you send us the source material in electronic form if possible. When translating technical texts, close cooperation with the client is of great help, because the client usually knows the terminology best and can give instructions on which terminology to use. We also offer discounts for large-scale work. In the case of small-scale technical translations, a longer deadline than usual is also required for the translation, because getting used to the topic and getting acquainted with the terminology sometimes takes even longer than the translation.

Legal translations are performed by our translators who specialize in law, thus guaranteeing the accuracy of terminology and a correct understanding of the original text, even in the most complex translations. When translating legal materials, cooperation with the client is also important, especially when deciphering the nuances. Attention must be paid to ensuring that the original materials are correct both formally and linguistically, as the quality of the translation depends on this.

Economic translations The field is also very large, as everything directly related to business and finance is concentrated in this area. Our translators are also very competent in this field.

Translation of advertising texts is creative and interesting, but also time-consuming work, as the translation must capture all the nuances of what is wanted to be said with the text. The text to be translated may be just one or two words, but translating them can take hours to find the best translation. This requires a creative approach and a broad horizon from the translator. Translating advertising text also requires very good language skills and creative thinking, it is not just about converting the text from the source language to the target language. When ordering translations of advertising texts, please allow for more time.

Medical texts are always translated by specialists with a higher medical education, because the subject matter is so specific that it would simply not be possible to do a professional translation without the corresponding higher education. A high-quality translation is also ensured by the cooperation between the translator and the client. Since medical texts usually have very specific terminology, it is also important to know who the end user of the text is, in order to simplify the terms if necessary, so that the text is understandable to the general reader, not just to the specialist.

Translation agency is a translation service provider, where translation activities form a comprehensive process, during which translations are edited or corrected, a release review is performed, and other support services are provided.

Translator provides written translation.

Translator provides oral interpretation.

Original text/original text is a text that needs to be translated into another language.

Translation text is the original text translated into the target language.

Source language is the language in which the original text is presented.

Target language is the language into which the translation is performed.

Written translation service is a written translation that includes editing or proofreading of the translated text and a post-production review.

Translation volume – the volume of written translations, editing and proofreading is estimated based on the number of characters in the translated text. One page contains 1800 characters including spaces. The number of characters can be calculated in Microsoft Word by selecting Tools > Word count > Characters (with spaces) and dividing this number by 1800, you will get the number of pages of your text.

Interpretation service is oral interpretation, where 3 different types are distinguished: whispered interpretation, consecutive interpretation and simultaneous interpretation.

Simultaneous interpretation In this case, the translation takes place simultaneously with the lecturer speaking. Translation requires the presence of the appropriate equipment. The interpreter is in a separate booth and the translation reaches the listeners' headphones practically simultaneously with the lecturer's speech. Simultaneous translation is usually done by two people. The interpreter, who is not currently translating, also listens to the text to help his colleague by writing down terms, numbers and names, and takes over the order of work if necessary.

Post-translation In this case, the lecturer and the interpreter speak alternately. The lecturer delivers his/her presentation in 5-minute segments in the source language, which the interpreter then translates as authentically as possible into the target language. No translation equipment is required for subsequent translation. The interpreter takes notes during the lecturer's presentation and, if possible, uses slides displayed on the wall.

Whisper translation In this case, the translator sits next to the listeners who do not speak the language and translates the lecturer's speech to them in a quiet voice. Whispered translation is possible when there are only a few people who need to be translated, 2-3 people.

Layout  During the translation process, text, graphics and/or images are placed so that the translation is as close to the original as possible.

Editing – checking the correspondence of the translated text to the original text. During editing, it is checked that the meaning of the original text is conveyed correctly and without omissions in the translated text, that the sentences are logical, and that the use of terminology is correct, relevant, and consistent.

Proofreading – proofreading the translation text with the aim of checking its linguistic accuracy and comprehensibility; since the translation text is not compared with the original text, no substantive changes are made.

Release inspection – general checking of the translation text to ensure that all parts of the source text have been translated and that the names/numbers in the text are correct and formatted according to the client's wishes.
